I know RobbL doesn't like her much, but perhaps he can get behind Michelle Malkin in support of Denmark.
As for me, I stand with Denmark and its great companies... like Lego.

And just to second the point that Monkey David made in the comments of an earlier post, I would like to reference the origin of the image I have posted above. It's a slightly altered version of a picture depicting Korah the Levite from the Bible (Numbers 16:1-2). It came from The Brick Testament, a site that's irreverently satirical of the Christian scriptures. It depicts all of the most revered persons of my faith. And I tolerate it. Of course, I may take a liberty or two with its copyright. Its creator, The Reverend, can email me if he would like the Monkeys to cease and desist.
N.B. If you're a blogger, you really ought to stand with us, stand with the Danes, and stand against the encroachment of Sharia intimidation. Post your own cartoon of Mohammed. It doesn't have to be intentionally disrespectful. See my first image. It's pretty straightforward. Do your part to desensitize the issue and make free speech safe again. It's true: We are all Danes now.

Posted by Brad at February 1, 2006 04:53 PMWell, I won't go so far as to "get behind" (or anywhere else in the vicinity of) Michelle Malkin, but I WILL keep eating butter cookies and playing with Legos.
In generic Scandinavian support, I DID marry a full-blooded Swede, so I hope that counts for something.
Posted by: Monkey RobbL at February 1, 2006 07:48 PMFor some fun, go to "The Reverend's" homepage and keep hitting Refresh. The pictures randomly change, but the best part is how the site's header tagline changes accordingly.
Posted by: Monkey Brad at February 1, 2006 08:13 PMFirst time I hit "refresh" on The Reverend's website, the tagline is:
"No longer suffering from Monkey Pox."
Beautiful.
Posted by: JamesPh. at February 1, 2006 10:00 PMMonkey Pox!
Posted by: Monkey David at February 1, 2006 10:29 PMFor the first time, my little country-of-origin is coming into its own. I'm so proud. No longer merely a yakkish breakfast roll, I am an original roll in a world of swirly compatriots. We are all Danes Now? Darn skippy!
Thanks for holding the line, monkeys. This lunacy cannot be allowed to go unfisked.
Posted by: The Random Yak at February 2, 2006 11:55 AMMaybe this will be a wake-up to the world and the apologists what these people are like... they HATE freedom!
Posted by: Phil at February 2, 2006 12:26 PMSome of us hold dear our freedom of expression & the satirical tradition of the European Enlightenment. We must not be cowed by intolerant followers of an irrational faith, who lack any sense of humour.
Here's my response to the current controversy:
PROPHET & LOSS?
Mohammad's bloody
hopping mad
those gross cartoons
are really bad
that pen of the Infidel
goddamn
might well prove sharper
& more cutting than
the deadly sword
of militant Islam

David Irving, a British Holocaust denier, was arrested in Austria in November 2005 for offenses related to Holocaust denial. If convicted, he could face up to 20 years in prison.
Ofcourse that is not CONSIDERED as freedom of speech since its against Jews. But anything against islamic faith is considered as freedom of speech. Well.. you ppl really suck with your double standards... can't you realize that?
Posted by: ich bin Deutscher at February 3, 2006 06:40 PMI don't know who "you ppl" are, but here in America we don't arrest people for denying the Holocaust. We shake our heads and make "cuckoo" faces when they're not looking, but we don't arrest them.
Posted by: Monkey RobbL at February 3, 2006 06:51 PMEh... I think the Holocaust and Nazism are sensitive issues in Germany and Austria. You aren't allowed to do Nazi salutes in Germany...
I suppose you're right, people ought to be able to talk bollocks as part of their Freedom of Speech.
