Oscar Wilde said "Never argue with a man who buys ink by the barrel." The Minneapolis Star-Tribune must still believe this, and keeps going after Powerline.
Guys, our "ink" on the Internet is virtually free, and there's a lot more bloggers than there are newspapers. Wake up.
Update: It looks like DakotaPundit had the same thought a few weeks ago.
Posted by David at February 1, 2005 11:18 AM | TrackBackThe readers of the Powerline guys have been begging them to sue the Strib (I know I did). Interesting that Powerline has actually taken to referring to the Stribs comments as defamatory. I suspect that this terminology is not just casually thrown out there by Rocketman. Cool.
Wouldn't it be great if Powerline ended up owning the Star Tribune?
Would they want it?
Ah, but think of the joy in firing Nick Coleman and Byrd.
