Infinite MonkeysJohnny Carson's death made me sadder than I would have expected. He was a great entertainer, and even more impressive, he retired with grace. When I did think about him, it was comforting to picture him golfing, or enjoying himself at his huge estate. I hope he got to do a lot of what he wanted in his later years.

He continued to fax jokes to David Letterman and reportedly got a huge kick out of seeing Dave use them in his monologue.
This also makes me realize what a crappy interviewer Leno is despite his stand up skills.
