Rand "Son of Ron" Paul is CRUSHING incumbent Republican party-whore Trey Grayson in the Senate primary for Kentucky.

UPDATE: The AP has called the race for Paul. Grayson lost 2-1 in his home district. David Weigel's take is here.

If he were named after Rand al'Thor.

Though, I do quite like the subtle Ayn Rand connotation, whether it's intentional or not.

Rand Paul

Of course his name was intentional. Paul's Kentucky win is good news. He'll likely be senator this time next year. We need more like him in the Congress. He should be one to restrain government, rather than expand it. Congratulations to Son of Ron Paul!!!!
