That was supposed to be funny? Funny or Die?
Grim Reaper, you're on.
Yeah. I'm going to "think this election through." Already have, as a matter of fact. Hope that doesn't make Opie mad.
I think you need to master the art of "meh." Some things simply don't require a response involving the use of superlatives, even if you disagree with them. A silly video featuring old men dressing up like they did 30 or 40 years ago probably would fall in the "meh" range.
I thought it was kind of fun. Not funny, but fun. Slightly self-effacing, mildly nostalgic, not polemical or axe-grinding. All in all, probably the least irritating political endorsement I've seen all season. What's the opposite of meh?
"What's the opposite of meh?"
... is "heh"?
I admit it. The last two weeks of the election have me a little wound up. ... What's that, Joel? How can anyone tell? Good one.
One thing I'm looking forward to when the election is over is the end of these condescending, lecturing and ridiculous political ads from celebrities.
When The One wins, of course, those celebrities will but cutting instructional videos filling in the details of what Michelle Obama meant she said: "Barack is going to make you work."
Hey, Joel. Can I have an office job in the new regime? Pull a few strings for an old pal? I don't want to go back to the salt mines again. Gave me blisters.
I really must decry the use of what appears to be orangutan hair to make Mr. Howard's shiny dome appear less grotesque! (Epic fail on that count, by the way.)
...with your heart, with your mind, and with courage and vision"?
Did some just make an allusion to Matthew 22:37?
In other news, I like the bit. I give it two "heh's" up.
